The Dallas Cowboys has cut outside linebacker Jaylon Smith. The move was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cowboys were uncomfortable with the $9.2 million amount that Smith carries in the form of his 2022 injury guarantee. The fifth-year linebacker out of Notre Dame is still owed $7.2 million.
