Nets’ Kevin Durant to miss 4-6 weeks with MCL injury

The Nets’ Kevin Durant has a sprained MCL in his knee, the team said. There is expectation within the Nets that it will be a four-to-six-week rehab and return for Durant.

After the Brooklyn Nets diagnosed All-NBA forward Kevin Durant with a sprained MCL of his left knee, the franchise has an expectation of a four-to-six week rehabilitation and return, sources told ESPN.

Durant underwent imaging on Sunday morning after Saturday night’s injury, and a realistic benchmark for Durant could be a return coming out of the All-Star break that ends on Feb. 24, sources said. Nevertheless, the organization will certainly err on the side of caution when it comes to Durant’s return.
