The Brooklyn Nets have solidified their spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs with a 115-108 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. With the win, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and company will advance to face the No. 2 seeded Boston Celtics with Game 1 of that best-of-seven series set to be played on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Boston.
Durant and Irving were their usual dominant selves for Brooklyn as the duo combined for 59 points, 23 assists and eight rebounds in the win to help the Nets hold off a comeback from the Cavaliers over the course of the fourth quarter that saw Cleveland cut the deficit to just five points after they had trailed by more than 20 points earlier in the game.
