Bucks holds off comeback attempt from Celtics in Game 3 to take 2-1 series lead

After trailing by as many as 14 points during the second half, the Boston Celtics mounted a furious comeback in the game’s final frame to take the lead with just under two minutes left in regulation after a pair of Jaylen Brown free throws. Ultimately though, that lead was short-lived as the Milwaukee Bucks scored the four of the game’s final five points in order to come away with a 103-101 win and a 2-1 series lead.

Boston had plenty of chances to send this game to overtime but Al Horford’s attempt at a tip-in came just after the final buzzer sounded. While that one didn’t fall for him, Horford had a fantastic game for the Celtics scoring 25 points and grabbing 15 boards. Jaylen Brown paced Boston offensively with 27 points and 12 rebounds of his own but, in the end, it was no match for the Bucks’ offensive attack as Giannis Antetokounmpo was just too dominant finishing with a game-high 42 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. https://twitter.com/celtics/status/1522931374864449536https://twitter.com/NBA/status/1522952441553207299
