The Tampa Bay Lightning put forth their most convincing effort yet in Game 4 on Tuesday, resulting in a 4-1 win at Amalie Arena. That evened the series at 2-2, with the Bolts gaining confidence while the Blueshirts lick their wounds.
“We expected to get their best,” defenseman Jacob Trouba said. “We’re one of three teams left here. It’s competitive hockey, and you expect their best. You want their best and we want to show that we can beat the best. We feel we’re an up-and-coming team and we’ve arrived and we want to play these games.”
If the Lightning-Rangers series goes seven games, Game 7 is scheduled to be played at Madison Square Garden on June 14.
