Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is expected to be out four to six weeks after injuring his shoulder Saturday against No. 1 Alabama, sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Sources said Ewers has been diagnosed with an SC sprain, a significant injury to where the sternum meets the clavicle. Ewers, who is experiencing significant pain, had an MRI on Saturday that confirmed the diagnosis.
The earliest that Ewers could return is against Oklahoma on Oct. 8.
