Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has shown “signs of improvement” since he was rushed to the hospital after he suffered cardiac arrest during a game, the team said Wednesday.
“Damar remains in the ICU in critical condition with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight,” the team said in a tweet.
“He is expected to remain under intensive care as his health care team continues to monitor and treat him.”
Just spoke with Damar Hamlin’s uncle. Damar was originally on 100% oxygen and is now down to 50%. Says the family is hanging in there. He thanked Bills fans, and Bengals fans and asked for continued prayers

Based on a variety of reports, the @NFL did not make the decision to suspend the Bengals-Bills game. Rather, players/captains and coaches from both teams, who had witnessed Bills safety Damar Hamlin getting CPR for 8 minutes, said they would not continue the game. #NFL
