Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto hit for the cycle Monday evening against the Arizona Diamondbacks, becoming the ninth player in franchise history to manage the feat.
Realmuto completed the achievement with a ninth-inning double. The three-time All-Star homered in the second inning, tripled in the third, and hit a single in the fifth.
The three-time Silver Slugger is the first Phillies player to hit for the cycle since David Bell in 2004. Chuck Klein remains the only Phillies player to manage it more than once, doing so in 1931 and 1933.
