Gerrit Cole made New York Yankees history Sunday, surpassing Ron Guidry for the most double-digit strikeout outings in franchise history.

In recording his 10th strikeout of Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, Cole notched his 24th double-digit strikeout contest since joining the historic franchise in 2020.
