Justin Verlander is heading back to Houston.
The New York Mets have agreed to trade the three-time Cy Young award winner to the Astros, a source told Ken Rosenthal and Chandler Rome of The Athletic. Verlander pitched for the Astros from 2017-22 before signing with the Mets this offseason.
