Major League Baseball will use the same pitch-clock rules during the playoffs that were implemented for the 2023 regular season, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
Players hoped to have a little more time in the postseason but, according to Passan, there will still be 15 seconds with no runners on and 20 seconds with runners on.
The league’s owner-led executive council told the competition committee Friday that no rule changes would be proposed before the playoffs, sources told Passan.
