Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young isn’t expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks due to an ankle injury, the team announced Thursday.
Andy Dalton will start against the Seahawks. Carolina also brought Jake Luton back to its practice squad Wednesday to likely act as Dalton’s backup.
Young – who missed his second consecutive practice Thursday – suffered the injury at some point during Monday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints but was able to finish the game.
