The Minnesota Twins defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 on Wednesday to complete a two-game sweep of their American League wild-card series.
The victory marks Minnesota’s first postseason series win since they defeated the Oakland Athletics in 2002. They will take on the defending World Series champion Houston Astros in the ALDS.
