Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season, team owner Jim Irsay told ESPN’s Stephen Holder on Monday.
“It’s not definite, but (he) probably misses this year, and we’re going to have to contend with that,” Irsay said.
Richardson – this year’s fourth overall pick – sustained an AC joint injury in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. He was originally expected to miss four-to-eight weeks but reportedly started considering season-ending surgery recently.
