Duke head coach Jon Scheyer agreed to a six-year contract extension that will keep him in Durham through the 2028-29 season, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Scheyer took over for Mike Krzyzewski after the Blue Devils legend retired in 2022. The 36-year-old was promoted to the big job after serving as associate head coach from 2018-22, and assistant coach from 2014-18.
In his first season with Duke, he led the Blue Devils to a 27-9 record and an ACC championship. The team lost to Tennessee in the second round of March Madness.
