Tiger Woods will make his return to the course later this month at the Hero World Challenge, he announced Saturday.
The 15-time major champion hasn’t played competitively since withdrawing from the Masters in April. Woods hosts the Hero World Challenge – which is recognized as an unofficial money event by the PGA TOUR – each year, with the upcoming edition set to run from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3.
The 47-year-old underwent ankle surgery shortly after leaving Augusta National early but said earlier in November that he’s fully recovered from the operation. Woods conceded that he still feels pain in the rest of his leg stemming from previous procedures.
