Former Texas Tech and Oregon quarterback Tyler Shough finished up a visit to Louisville’s campus on Tuesday and announced his commitment to the Cardinals.
Shough, a former four-star prospect from Chandler, Ariz., spent three years at Oregon before transferring to Texas Tech. He only played in 15 games during his three seasons at Texas Tech, which were marred by injuries.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Shough has played in 26 career games at the two schools and completed 355 of 562 passes – 63.2 percent – for 4,625 yards and 26 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. He’s also rushed for 714 yards and 10 TDs.
Shough is currently listed as the No. 10 quarterback prospect in the portal.
