The New York Yankees are on the verge of landing one of baseball’s top hitters, as they’re finalizing a trade to land outfielders Juan Soto and Trent Grisham from the San Diego Padres, sources told Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
The Padres would reportedly receive starter Michael King, No. 2 pitching prospect Drew Thorpe, pitchers Jhony Brito and Randy Vásquez, along with veteran catcher Kyle Higashioka.
