Michigan’s Juwan Howard will resume his head coaching duties Saturday when the Wolverines take on Eastern Michigan, athletic director Warde Manuel announced.
While Howard has been on the bench for some of the school’s contests, he has yet to serve as head coach this season after undergoing a heart procedure in September.
Associate head coach Phil Martelli had been acting as Michigan’s bench boss during Howard’s absence.
