Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green has started counseling and is expected to remain suspended for at least three weeks, sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Green was suspended indefinitely for unsportsmanlike acts last week after he was ejected for striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face. Considering his history of unsportsmanlike conduct, Green needs to meet certain league and team conditions before returning to play.
The forward was suspended five games in November for putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock as part of a team altercation with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was also ejected from a contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers for pushing Donovan Mitchell.
