Unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano will defend her WBA, IBF, and WBO titles against Nina Meinke on March 2 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Most Valuable Promotions announced Thursday.
Additionally, Jake Paul’s next fight will serve as the co-main event. His opponent is to be determined. The card will stream on DAZN.
Serrano will compete using 12 three-minute rounds – the standard for men’s championship bouts – for the second time after doing so in a historic October bout. The Puerto Rico native recently vacated the WBC featherweight title – and, therefore, lost her status as the undisputed champion – because that sanctioning body doesn’t support 12 three-minute rounds for women’s title clashes.
