Kliff Kingsbury is considered a strong candidate for the Commanders’ offensive coordinator position on new head coach Dan Quinn’s staff after recently interviewing for the job, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
And he’s still an option for other gigs around the NFL, sources told NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Kingsbury was one of several candidates who interviewed for the Raiders’ position, joining UCLA head coach Chip Kelly, former Chicago Bears coordinator Luke Getsy, and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan.
