The New York Knicks are acquiring sharpshooting vet Bojan Bogdanovic from the Detroit Pistons, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
As part of the deal, the Pistons are reportedly also sending Alec Burks to New York. In return, the Knicks are apparently trading Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono, and a pair of second-round picks to Detroit.
Bogdanovic was a steady veteran presence on the Pistons over the last season-and-a-half as the franchise navigates a tenuous rebuild. The 34-year-old is scoring 20.2 points per game – which was second on Detroit behind Cade Cunningham – while shooting 41.5% from beyond the arc on 7.4 attempts this campaign.
