The San Francisco Giants and outfielder Jorge Soler have agreed to a three-year, $42-million contract, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
The 31-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Miami Marlins and hit 36 home runs with a .853 OPS over 137 games last year.
Soler will look to boost a Giants lineup that finished 19th in home runs, 24th in runs scored, and 26th in OPS last season.
