Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart was arrested for assault after punching Phoenix Suns big man Drew Eubanks prior to Wednesday’s matchup between the two teams, Phoenix police confirmed to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The NBA is expected to receive footage and review the incident, a source told Charania.
Police said that security had to separate both players.
