Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday is expected to be named to Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics, barring unforeseen circumstances, sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Joe Vardon.
USA Basketball has pursued Holiday for much of the NBA season. He’s believed to have delivered his commitment to the men’s national team in recent weeks, sources added.
The veteran guard helped the Americans claim gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. He was considered the team’s second most important player behind Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant.
