The Baltimore Ravens are signing franchise-tagged defensive tackle Justin Madubuike to a four-year deal, the club announced Friday.
The contract is worth $98 million and includes $75.5 million in guarantees, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Justin is one of the best defensive tackles in the entire NFL and a cornerstone on our defense,” general manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement.
Madubuike’s new contract has the highest overall value among interior defensive linemen, according to Over the Cap. The $24.5-million average annual value ranks second among defensive tackles. Los Angeles Rams standout Aaron Donald makes an average of roughly $31.7 million.
