New York Giants co-owner John Mara is giving the team the go-ahead to draft a signal-caller in the first round.
“If they fall in love with a quarterback and believe that it’s worth pick No. 6 or moving up, I certainly would support that,” Mara told reporters Monday, including ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.
Mara added that the Giants’ front office told him this year’s draft class is the “most talented group (of quarterbacks) to come out in years.”
