Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse and forward Kelly Oubre Jr. made no secret of their displeasure with the referees immediately following their 108-107 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
In real time, officials decided that Clippers star Paul George stayed vertical as Oubre made a last-second shot attempt near the rim.
“I thought there was certainly contact. I thought there was enough contact to call,” Nurse told reporters postgame, according to NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark.
