Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer is retiring after 38 seasons with the school.
VanDerveer recorded an NCAA-record 1,216 victories with Idaho, Ohio State, and Stanford. She overtook Mike Krzyzewski’s record earlier this season.
Associate head coach Kate Paye is negotiating with the school to become its bench boss for the 2024-25 season.
