Southampton earned promotion back to the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Leeds United in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Striker Adam Armstrong’s first-half goal was enough to ensure Southampton’s immediate return to England’s top flight a year after they were relegated for finishing last in the Premier League.
