Indiana Fever rookie point guard Caitlin Clark is expected to be held off the United States women’s basketball roster for the upcoming Paris Olympics, sources told Shams Charania, Joe Vardon, Mark Puleo, Ben Pickman, and Chantel Jennings of The Athletic.
The roster seems to favor veterans with Olympic experience. The 12-player national team will include Napheesa Collier, Kahleah Copper, Brittney Griner, Sabrina Ionescu, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Alyssa Thomas, Chelsea Gray, A’ja Wilson, and Jackie Young, according to The Athletic.
