Two days after appearing to retire from boxing, Ryan Garcia reversed course.
The controversial fighter, who was handed a one-year suspension Thursday following two positive drug tests, clarified that his announced retirement is merely until his ban expires next April.
“I’m retiring for a year so they don’t get the satisfaction for suspending me ’cause it’s bull,” Garcia told TMZ on Friday. “I never took steroids in my life. They can all suck wieners.”
