Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel announced that edge rusher Jaelan Phillips is coming off the PUP list and will practice on Monday, according to Armando Salguero of OutKick.
Phillips was sidelined to start training camp after sustaining an Achilles injury during a November game. The 2021 first-round pick is a key member of the Dolphins’ defense in 2024 and amassed 52 QB hits and 22 sacks through his first 42 NFL appearances.
The 25-year-old – who posted a career-high 8.5 sacks as a rookie – recorded 6.5 sacks in just eight games in 2023 before going down with his season-ending injury.
