Free agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore has reached an agreement in principle with the Minnesota Vikings on a one-year deal worth up to $10 million that includes $7 million guaranteed, his agent, Jason Chayut of Sportstars Inc., told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Sunday.
The Vikings brought in Gilmore for a visit this past week, with coach Kevin O’Connell saying prior to the meeting that he had a “ton of respect” for the five-time Pro Bowler.
Gilmore played the 2023 season with the Dallas Cowboys, who acquired him from the Indianapolis Colts for a fifth-round pick, and he had a standout season, starting all 17 games and finishing with two interceptions and 13 passes defended.
