Nottingham Forest Academy has announced the signing of Kristian Fletcher on a season-long loan from D.C. United, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season. Fletcher, a 19-year-old forward, has made 28 appearances for D.C. United, including 13 in the MLS this year, and previously spent time on loan with Swansea City’s Under-21s.
Chris McGuane, Head of Academy, expressed excitement about adding Fletcher’s quality to their B Team, noting his MLS experience and potential for growth. Fletcher himself shared his eagerness to join the club, learn, and develop further, stating his enthusiasm for the journey ahead with Nottingham Forest and its fans.
