Testing on Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold revealed a bone bruise with no structural damage, head coach Kevin O’Connell announced Monday.
“Really good news, positive news,” O’Connell told reporters. “Extensive evaluations this morning really just revealing a knee bruise in there. A little sore, but hoping Sam can have a normal week of preparation.”
Darnold isn’t expected to miss any time, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
