Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is planning to undergo season-ending surgery on his partially torn hamstring, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Prescott will meet with another specialist to get a final opinion before undergoing the operation, with the surgery likely to sideline him for four months, Schefter adds. He’d be out for six-to-eight weeks if he opts against surgery, sources told Schefter.
The 31-year-old has thrown for 1,978 yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in eight games this season while leading the team to a 3-5 record.
