Jake Bates drilled a last-second 52-yard field goal to help Detroit claim a 26-23 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football despite Jared Goff throwing five interceptions in the contest.
Goff is the first QB to win a start with five interceptions since Matt Ryan in 2012. In the Super Bowl era, quarterbacks with at least five picks in a game have a 10-141-2 record, according to Josh Dubow of The Associated Press.
