Baseball Hall of Famer and MLB’s all-time stolen bases leader Rickey Henderson died Saturday at age 65.
Henderson recorded 3,055 hits with 297 home runs and 1,115 RBIs over his 25-year career as a prolific leadoff hitter between 1979 and 2003. His 1,406 steals, 2,295 runs, and 81 leadoff homers are tops in major-league history.
The 1990 AL MVP was a 10-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion (1989 Oakland Athletics, 1993 Toronto Blue Jays).
