Former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is interested in becoming the next coach of the Chicago Bears, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Carroll and the Seahawks mutually agreed to part ways following the 2023 season. The 73-year-old remained with the team in an advisery role this campaign. Carroll went 137-89-1 and won Super Bowl XLVIII during a successful 14-year run as Seahawks coach.
The Bears fired coach Matt Eberflus on Nov. 29 after a 4-8 start to the season. Thomas Brown took over on an interim basis and is winless in three games.
