The Philadelphia Eagles will rest some players in their regular-season finale against the New York Giants, head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters Wednesday, including The Athletic’s Brooks Kubena.
Running back Saquon Barkley, who’s 100 yards shy of the single-season rushing record, is “probably” going to be a player that rests, Sirianni added.
Barkley has totaled 2,005 yards on 345 carries this season. Both marks lead all NFL runners. The 27-year-old has added 278 yards and two touchdowns on 33 receptions.
