The New England Patriots plan to interview Mike Vrabel on Thursday for their head coaching vacancy, sources told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
New England began looking for a head coach after firing Jerod Mayo, who went 4-13 in his one season.
Vrabel is considered a front-runner for the job, Rapoport reports. The 49-year-old played for New England from 2001-08, helping the franchise win three Super Bowl titles. He was recently inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.
