Arsenal scored four second-half goals to beat Manchester City 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Martin Odegaard opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game after Manuel Akanji’s giveaway. Erling Haaland brought City level in the second half, but another mistake helped Arsenal retake the lead one minute later.
Thomas Partey’s long-range shot deflected into the City net before Myles Lewis-Skelly, Kai Havertz, and Ethan Nwaneri scored to seal the win for second-placed Arsenal, who remain six points behind Liverpool. Manchester City sit nine points back of the Gunners in fourth place.
