Rolly Romero pulled off a huge upset against Ryan Garcia, defeating him via unanimous decision (115-112, 115-112, 118-109) in the welterweight main event of Friday’s event in Times Square.
Romero scored the only knockdown of the fight, flooring Garcia with two left hooks in the second round.
Garcia returned to the ring for the first time since serving a one-year suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) for multiple positive drug tests.
