Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. suffered a turf toe injury that will require a procedure to repair, the team announced Tuesday.
Jackson suffered the injury “while participating in a live basketball run offsite,” the Grizzlies stated. Further evaluation by doctors showed that he needed surgery to correct the issue.
Memphis won’t have a timeline for his return until after the procedure is completed.
