The Indiana Fever selected Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday in Brooklyn, New York.
The selection amounts to one of the most predictable picks in the WNBA draft’s 28-year history after Clark, 22, shattered several NCAA records during her celebrated tenure with the Hawkeyes.
The NCAA Division I’s all-time leading scorer (men and women) and two-time reigning AP Player of the Year should add a scoring boost to a Fever side that hasn’t made the playoffs since 2016.
