Bucks president: Giannis relationship in ‘good place’

Bucks president Peter Feigin addressed Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future during Milwaukee’s Summer League game Sunday, suggesting nothing has changed between the franchise and its superstar.

“It’s where we’ve been for 10 years,” Feigin said during the live broadcast. “Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We’re at a good place. We feel great about it. It’s business as usual.”

Antetokounmpo’s future has been a hot topic since the Bucks were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in five games in the first round of the playoffs this past season. The two-time MVP was reportedly open to the possibility of leaving the Bucks, who don’t seem close to contending for a championship after recently parting ways with injured guard Damian Lillard. Antetokounmpo was apparently unhappy with Lillard’s release.
