The Minnesota Vikings and safety Josh Metellus agreed to a three-year extension worth $36 million, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The contract has a maximum value of $42 million and includes $25 million in guaranteed money, Schefter adds.
Despite seeking a new deal, Metellus continued to participate in training camp.
