Billy Donovan’s tenure with the Chicago Bulls will continue for the foreseeable future as the head coach agreed to a long-term extension with the club, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Donovan has been with the organization for five seasons, amassing a 195-205 record in 400 games and making the playoffs just once.
Donovan emerged as a potential candidate for the New York Knicks opening once the team fired Tom Thibodeau, but ultimately finds himself remaining in Chicago as the Bulls continue their rebuild.
